For the theater production "Hung Out to Dry", written and directed by artist Danielle Abrams, I played legendary conservative Boston politician and anti-busing opponent Louise Day Hicks. In conjunction with the ICA Boston's blockbuster exhibition "Leap Before You Look: Black Mountain College 1933-1957," the piece was performed in the museum's Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater and juxtaposed the history of racial integration at Black Mountain College with the history of busing and desegregation in Boston.
